TRIP to CANNING STOCK ROUTE DAY 32 - CSR

13 July 2012

STAGE 3 CSR Day 11

GeoRGIA BORE

We decided to stay here to give Jenny and Harry a chance to also clean up the diesel spill from the other day as there was water here that cold be used to clean up.

They were up early attending to the task whilst the rest of us started the day in a lazy fashion.

I did some washing and decided to make my moorish white chocolate pretzels for morning tea. However, the white choc bits when I opened the pack were a bit stuck together. This was not a good omen. It had not been hot enough for them to melt in the car. So they must have malted a bit before getting to Wiluna shops. I tried to melt them in a double saucepan but all I got was this white globby mess. So instead I decided to make cupcakes with it. They went down well.

In the meantime the guys decided to check what was making the noise when Oka 206 reversed. Well!!!! A universal on each of the three drive shuts had gone. The next few hours were under Oka 306 changing the universals on each of the drive shafts. Thank goodness we and Oka 45 had one spare each.

Whilst this was going on the girls relaxed and chatted.
